Tasso Square and Corso Italia

5-minute walk from the B&B

Tasso Square is where tourists, socialites and locals meet at any time of day and night, the pulsing heart of the city, the place to see and to be seen. It boasts many restaurants, bars, terraces where you can sip a coffee, have a light lunch, afternoon tea, aperitifs, and much more, quietly watching the world walk by under the sun. From here starts Corso Italia, the main area for shopping, partly pedestrian and crossing the old town.

Marina Grande and Marina Piccola

15-minute walk from the B&B

Marina Piccola is the port of Sorrento, where you take ferries and hydrofoils. Marina Piccola is located at the mouth of the Valley of the Mills. When the port was built, the old fishermen houses were replaced by modern buildings so that travelers received properly. Today, Marina Piccola is a major tourist hub. In Marina Piccola, there are lidos. Since the strip of sandy beach is small, the lidos stretch into the sea on stilts. The hamlet of Marina Grande is sheltered by high cliffs on both sides and is certainly one of the most authentic of Sorrento, animated by a large fishing community. The small village can be reached on foot via the ancient Greek port of Marina Grande, dated back to 3rd century B.C. In the hamlet, there are bars, restaurants, and beaches to the delight of holidaymakers.

Museum Correale

3-minute walk from the B&B

Enter the heart of Sorrento to discover a place rich in history, the guardian of an invaluable heritage. Summer residence of the Correale family and its wonderful garden, it opens its doors to lovers of beauty and refinement to offer a real journey through the centuries today: from archaeological finds to Sorrento marquetry, from the Neapolitan Mannerism school of art of the 16th century, to the paintings of the Neapolitan artists of the “School of Posillipo”, from the invaluable historic furnishings to the prestigious porcelain of the 1700s. Opened to the public in 1924, the museum has 24 exhibition rooms, spread across the four floors of the 18th century residence, collecting great examples of figurative art between the 15th and 19th centuries.
